Full-Time Supported Living Registered Manager

My client is looking for a driven individual to join their established team of professionals and look to progress their career with this supported living Manager position in the Elgin area. They pride themselves in delivering high standards of care across the country, using a person-centred approach. This is a very exciting time to join the company!
The role is to start ASAP and they will look at bringing in individuals either on an interim basis or a temp to perm contract.
This is a fantastic career development opportunity as the Supported Living Manager would oversee 2 services and will have the opportunity to put their own stamp on the role that provides support to individuals with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum. You will be charged with building the staff team and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered at all times.
My client’s focus will be on an empowering model of support which enables people to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes.
The Supported Living Manager will ensure that the service maximises positive outcomes and achieves the highest standards of service delivery, contract and Care inspectorate compliance.
Key Responsibilities –
- Manage and lead an established team of support staff
- Implement and maintain standards set out by Care inspectorate
- Deal with recruitment and retention of staff
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach
- Must have experience with Supported Living
- Must have previous management experience
- NVQ Level 4/5 in health and social care or leadership and management or above (or at least working towards)
- Experience working with learning disabilities
- The role prefers a car driver ideally due to the locations of the services in the area
- IT literate
Salary – Circa £32k
Interim contractor rate can also be discussed.
