An exceptional new opportunity with a national care provider that specialise in supported living care for adults with learning disabilities and associated mental health. This fantastic, specialist company are looking for a competent manager or someone ready to step up to join their established team of professionals.

Scheme Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead an established team of support staff
  • Implement and maintain standards set out by CQC
  • Deal with recruitment and retention of staff
  • On call responsibilities shared between management
  • Be a good project manager and help to support the transformation of our services.
  • The growth and development of the region.
  • Ensure individuals who use services are fully involved in the delivery of service
  • Audit services regularly and report accordingly
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach

 

Scheme Manager Requirements

  • Motivational with leadership skills
  • Person centred approach to delivery of services
  • A Professional Qualification/NVQ Level 5 or NVQ 4 (and working towards an NVQ 5 already)
  • Minimum of four years’ experience within the learning disability or mental health sector.
  • Minimum of three years’ management experience in the sector.
  • Experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
  • IT literate
