Full-Time Service Manager – Learning Disabilities

I am currently working on behalf of a well-known healthcare provider that support adults living with a learning disability or autism with complex needs across specialist health and social care settings throughout the UK. They are looking to appoint a Service Manager in one of their Learning disability Nursing Services near Birmingham.
The service itself is an award winning nursing home which provides assessment and intervention for men and women who have Autism and associated learning disabilities and complex. The Service is rated as Outstanding and are looking for a strong experienced Manager to continue to develop the service from strength to strength.
As a Service Manager you will be leading the staff team in further improving the quality of the service and delivering the right outcomes for people who use it. You will have overall responsibility and accountability for the management of the service. As the Service Manager you will encourage in others the required standards of practice. Through effective leadership and management, you will ensure full compliance to the relevant regulatory and professional standards
Applicants looking to apply will need to have experience in the management of services for people with autism and learning disabilities, ideally within a therapeutic rehabilitation framework. You will also need to meet the requirements of the regulator in terms of experience and qualification for the service. You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong staff manager. Applicants will require a valid nursing qualification of either an RMN or RNLD.
Our client provides full training and clear pathways to progress. Training includes Free Comprehensive induction, Leading & Managing in the Workplace, Maybo, RIVO Training, Root Cause Analysis, to name a few. They also cover the cost of your DBS check.

Salary – 50-55k
