Job Description

I am currently working on behalf of a care provider that is looking to appoint a Registered Manager for their supported living service in Bradford. The service supports people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health conditions.They are looking for someone who is committed to quality care and a continuous improvement ethos.  They need someone who is passionate and dedicated to their role as a Manager. The service has good relationships with CQC, the Local Authority, Service Users and Relatives.  The service has a committed team of staff who are excited to assist with the recruitment of an experienced Manager to lead their team.

In this role you will work closely with the compliance and operations team to improve the quality of the service – they need a confident Manager to take on this challenging role, which will be a rewarding and well supported position in the company.

£27,000 – 34,000 depending on experience

(You may start on a middle salary which could increase after successful probation)

  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • The Manager will be expected to take part in the on-call rota which is currently one week in three.
  • In exceptional circumstances there could be the odd evening and weekend, unlikely to be any night shifts.

Key requirements:

  • Experience of managing a supported living services
  • A track record of working with service users with mental health and learning disabilities
  • Good knowledge of the care standards and the local areas
  • High expectations on delivery of person centred care, good standard of care writing, risk assessing and implementing change.
  • Strong leadership skills and hold outstanding organisational skills
  • Ability to deal with complex services, with a hands on approach
