An excellent opportunity has arisen within a Private Mental Health care provider who are a medium size company and have services across the East Midlands and Surrey. This growing healthcare provider require a Registered Nurse to lead the care team in the assessment of care needs, and the implementation of programmes of care. This is an excellent opportunity and requires candidates who have worked with Mental Health.
They are looking for an individual who is able to support junior staff in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership, mentoring, teaching and sharing of knowledge and practice.

Registered Nurse – Mental Health – Responsibilities:
*Working with the clinical team to ensure that all service users have a clear plan of care through the provision of the care programme approach.
* Will co-ordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care given for a group of patients.
*Value the aims of the services.
*To ensure that the care of the service users meets their mental, physical, spiritual, psychological and social needs.
* To supervise and manage staff allocated to the team on a shift by shift basis.
*Ensure the ward environment is clean and meets infection control guidelines.
*Ensure that levels of security and safety reflect the needs of the service users and aspirations of the service.
*Support staff on your ward.
*Develop staff in a way that is consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
Registered Nurse – Mental Health – skills required
* Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD)or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an ACTIVE, NMC PIN Registration.
* If you are motivated, flexible and ready to take on a new challenge
* You will be committed to providing the highest care standards.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*Flexible hours available – full time/part time
*Mental Health experience.
*Acute Mental health setting.
