Full-Time Registered Manager – Learning disabilities

I am currently working with one of the largest UK healthcare providers that is looking to appoint an experienced residential care home manager into one of their large learning disability care services in Leicestershire.
The service is situated just outside Loughborough and provides care to working aged adults with learning disabilities and those with complex needs and challenging behaviour. It is currently slightly underperforming and as such they require a strong, proven care home manager to come in and use their expertise to get the home back performing to the highest standard. You will lead the staff team to ensure that the care quality delivered is paramount and that there is key policies and procedures in place for best practice. You will be responsible for managing the finances of the service and be required to establish strong relationships with local authorities and commissioning groups to ensure the service is well marketed.
Candidates looking to apply should have:
– At least 5 years’ experience in working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
– A proven track record of successfully managing a residential care service
– Strong commercial acumen and an ability to forge relationships with key stake holders
– Excellent financial management experience
– Managed large staff teams
Salary – £28 -32k
