Job Description

An exceptional new opportunity has arisen with a national care provider that specialise in Residential/Community and Supported Living care for adults with Learning disabilities, Autism, Challenging behaviour and Mental Health. This fantastic, specialist company are looking for a competent and Deputy Manager to oversee the management of one of their residential services.


This service is rated as Good with CQC and supports adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities in a residential setting.

Registered Home Manager Key Responsibilities –

  • Report into the registered manager and deputise when absent
  • Ensure high standards of care are delivered
  • Manage the staff team of senior and support workers
  • Have good communication and relationship building skills
  • Ensure CQC standards are met
  • Liaise with external professionals


Registered Home Manager Requirements –

  • Broad experience of managing people, service and quality within a senior capacity
  • Must have NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above and be willing to work towards Level 4
  • A high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
  • A good understanding of commercial principles and practices


  • Salary – up to £26,461 per annum depending on experience
  • Annual leave – 5.6 weeks holiday per year
